Our products get tested continuously and are up to date with today’s evolving building codes and fire codes. Codes have changed, requirements have changed, technology has changed and all the testing and standards for our products exceed ULCS101, ULC S102, ULC S109, ASTM, NFPA, UL, and UBC standards. Fire retardant coatings require special testing processes. Specifications have changed on the testing process over 6 times since 1985! Some other companies are still using test reports from earlier specifications dating back all the way to 1985 and do not meet today’s standards. Our fire retardant coatings are current with today’s standards ( 2012/2013).

For most people, painting, staining or pre-finishing and applying fire retardant coatings is not fun or convenient. So, we want make the process as easy and productive as possible for you.
